| - For the past 6 or 7 years, my workout consisted of running and cross training. I was pretty happy in my "running bubble", as well as hitting the gym by myself.
An invite from co-workers let me to UPRISING. After one class, I knew that this was a very special place. From the first moment I was welcomed by a group of strong, talented and very kind individuals.
Even though I had a background in running, I had never taken the time (or had the direction) to strengthen my core, arms or legs. The small class size allows Jon to asses you, provide feedback and above all, encouragement. He puts thought and planning into every single workout, ensuring that we are getting the best total body workout in each class.
After just two weeks of attending UPRISING, my runs started to improve. My pace was faster, my core felt strong, I was breathing easier and even my posture improved. I've been at UPRISING for five months and have enjoyed every single challenging and sweat filled workout. I can't imagine ever returning to a "normal" gym-the results and comradery can't be beat!
