  • Well, I have to admit that this place was beautiful inside. Very modern and inviting atmosphere. We only caught attitude from the hostesses. We still haven't figured out why. Perhaps it was because they were ugly. As a result of said ugliness, they were bitter about it. Otherwise, our server, the sommeliers, and foodrunners were down to earth. They all aided in creating the inviting atmosphere. Everyone was pleasant to us. The only problem I had was that the food I ate was not worth the $100+ a person. It was good, yes. However, it wasn't amazing. If I am going to pay that much money for food, it better blow my mind. We didn't even care for our appetizer (dungeness crab salad, granny smith apple, cucumber "gelee"). It was sort of gross. We were at least enjoying the view from atop THEhotel, so we hung out at the lounge after dinner. Three drinks for $56. Y'know, you sit atop your ivory tower, point fingers at me as much as you want, and tell me that I don't have money to burn. But, no drink is worth $18. All in all, this place was a tad disappointing. I really hoped for better. It's recommended, but please be forewarned.
