I thought I was trying out a divey Chinese restaurant today. It's in a broken down strip mall that looks like it was built too closely to the freeway.
Funny thing is that it wasn't a dive inside. It was dark and a little plain, but the food and decor reminded me of East Coast Chinese places. Fish tank. Hot tea and spicy mustard on the table. Awesome egg drop soup, and the egg rolls were fresh and crunchy. The chicken & shrimp lunch entree was nothing special, but it came with a small pot of fried rice, which is another nice touch.
Fast service. Reasonably priced. The place was crowded, and now I know why. I'll be back.
