  • Someone told me to check out Kensington Market when I visited Toronto. I was promised a lively neighborhood, and that is exactly Kensington Market. It is very near Chinatown, perhaps even inside Chinatown (please forgive my ignorance of the neighborhood), and yet it is nothing like Chinatown. Full of artisan shops, vintage stores, colorful art, interesting people, it is just a funky area that is well worth wandering into. Next time I am back in Toronto, I will be found here again.
