| - Showed up Thursday about 11pm. Ordered 1 well drink, two specialty drinks, and a house Cabernet for friend sitting 4 seats away. I got my well drink within 5 mins, Cab was poured, then put in front of friends seat..but on bartenders edge of counter?? (It wasn't till much later that I discovered the bartender started serving him white wine, and never gave him the red he charged me $16 for)! It took the bartender another 20 mins to even start making the specialty drinks?! I paid the $50 tab. Other friends (9 total..including me) showed up, so all moved to a table across from the bar. Then the nightmare really began. I made it very clear that my 2 sons and I were on the same tab. They ordered a couple more specialty drinks and I ordered an appetizer and Linguino n Clams (It was spaghetti noodles!) that was covered in shells, and even less clams, that were smaller than a 4 year olds fingernail. Very very bland. Most orders were placed just after midnight. I got my appetizer and Linguin(o) both about 40 mins later. No one else got their food yet. It took almost an hour before theirs started to trickle out. We kept reminding him of my sons 2 specialty drinks, but the waiter would regularly disappear for 15-25 mins! My sons ordered 2 sides of bacon mac n cheese and the waiter promised the drinks were finally being made, and that he will graciously comp them. 15 mins later the mac n cheese is served by someone else, and still no waiter, no drinks. Finally, one son had to leave as the drinks came. he took a sip and left. I paid what appeared to be a modest tab of 27 dollars. It turns out that was just the cost to the "sides" of mac n cheese! My other food was on someone else's tab! While sorting this out, another friend is given his tab without his credit card! We spend 20 mins looking for it under tables..everywhere (meanwhile waiter disappears again). WE asked the second bartender, and he said that he picked it up and held it thinking it was one of his customers! Our waiter finally reappears with my additional charges..takes friends card again and places it with billfolds in his apron pouch and promises not to lose it. He brings back my OTHER tab. You'll never guess what happens.. You did! He lost my friends card and tab AGAIN! Another 10 mins goes by before he returns with it! I then confront the bartender about $16 Cabernet that never made it to my friend, and he reruns my tab. The jury's out yet if these tabs ever show up correct on my Credit Card! Herbs and Rye's prices are outrageous considering the dumpy location. Even Happy Hour prices are on the high side. Some of the foods and drinks were actually pretty good, but way over-priced. I've lived in Vegas for 23 years, and this was absolutely the worst customer service I've ever had..EVER!
