I've been coming to Elmwood for years but feel that the quality of the building and amenities have not been great. Went here on a Sunday afternoon with my boyfriend and the place was packed. Pool area was busy, hot tub was full, steam room was full and no lounge chairs to sit in. Other patrons chat freely despite the "Quiet Zone" and staff do nothing to enforce it. Large groups make for the opposite of a relaxing spa experience. People were actually swimming laps/splashing ...felt chaotic to say the least.
Was looking forward to seeing the "renovations" that the spa had undergone in recent months. Did not see any significant changes - the pool area, seating areas and decor are in major need of a modern face lift. With the money I pay for a relaxing spa experience I would rather spend the extra $$ and go to the Hammam, Body Blitz or Ritz Carlton.
Elmwood Spa - your staff are fantastic but you need to update your amenities!
