| - I don't even know where to begin.
I was misdiagnosed by Dr. Volker, despite all my previous doctors and all the doctors he sent me to saying otherwise about my condition.
He doesn't seem to be listening to my complaints about medications and their side effects. One med he put me on gave me enormous stretch marks and when I complained about them he said to keep on it. Then when I saw him and complained again the following month, he acted sympathetic and took me off of it.
It's nearly impossible to get refills on medications. The doctor gave me four months worth of meds even though he wanted to see me in six months. When I pointed this out to him he ignored me. Sure enough, I ran out and called in to get more refills. I was directed to a machine, and never got my refills. I've now been off meds that I need to be on regularly in order to regulate my hormones and reproductive system for three months. Repeated calls, messages, and faxes from my pharmacy have been ignored. Any attempt to call and complain to a live person leads me to be put on hold for about six and a half minutes, at which point the automated system hangs up on me.
My aforementioned appointment was cancelled two days beforehand because the doctor decided to take an extended vacation.
Even when I DO get to go through with an appointment, the wait times are horrendous. When I started seeing Dr. Volker two years ago they were about 30-45 minutes, but my last two visits I was waiting for over two and a half hours before I was even seated in a room.
Finally, when I went there in person to see if I could get my records and MAYBE a refill to last until I find another doctor, everyone who could possibly do anything was out of the office, leaving the girl at reception alone. She had me sign a release form instead of printing my info out and handing it to me (which I know that they can do) and told me it would be seven to ten days. She then asked if I wanted to make a new appointment.
