The top school in Las Vegas. I learned Blackjack in about three weeks attending part time as my schedule permitted. They sent me out on an audition and I got my first job at a small local casino. Two months later I got hired by The Flamingo and O'Sheas where I dealt for years before retiring.
This is the dealing school that the casinos call when the need new dealers. The economy has picked up so this is a good time to sign up.
The school has exactly the right environment for learning to deal casino games. You get the right combination of teaching, practicing and playing the game. The school is arranged like a real casino with actual casino tables and equipment.
I would recommend learning two of the following games: Blackjack, Roulette or Craps unless you want to become a Poker dealer. If you get hired as a Poker dealer you'll never be asked to deal any other games. Keep in mind that Poker dealers keep their own tips, and the other casino dealers share tips. I'm not saying one is better than the other, though.
Don't be fooled by the phony reviews and "special offers" at other schools who have just one guy teaching everyone. These schools come and go. Casino Gaming School has been around for over 20 years and has trained tens of thousands of dealers.
When I was dealing I'd see lots of new people come in to audition. My pit boss told me that he can tell right away which ones come from Casino Gaming School. These are the dealers who know what they're doing and get hired right away.
I stopped by the other day to say hello and found out that the school is moving to a brand new location very soon.
