This place is huge! No matter how crowded it is, it never really feels crowded, unless you are right next to the main playground. The loop is very long, probably a mile or maybe even longer. And there is so much grass everywhere you can find a place to hang out.
There is a skate park up front. Lots of things to climb on for the kids, slides, even a sand pit with water and a mini rock climbing wall. Tons of picnic tables and seriously anything you would want in a park, this place has it. It's cleaner than you'd imagine (except once after a major holiday the restrooms were a disaster), and hardly any dog poop.
Speaking of dogs, there's also dog parks too. Two large sides for the big dogs (they trade off sides) and a small side for the small dogs. Too bad the small dog side has less trees and shade though. There's a dog wash outside the large dog side to clean and cool off your dog afterwards too.
Plenty of parking that loops all the way around the park so you can park near where you want to hang out. There's also an amphitheater and they are expanding the area too.
But probably the most surprising thing about this park is the ponds don't smell! Lots of water fowl and yes there is visible poop on some of the walkways, but it doesn't smell. (I still have nightmares about the park at Aliante.)
