| - Becker's was the second of five appointments I had at bridal salons, and I ended up returning after all my other appointments to re-try on the dress I ended up choosing. I was the only person with an appointment at that time, so I had great one-on-one attention - this was contrasted by my experiences at some other salons, which felt much more rushed, impersonal or hectic.
My consultant was Roza, who was absolutely wonderful. All the consultants I saw at each of my appointments were lovely, but Roza was by far the best for a number of reasons. I wasn't set on any one style of dress, but even after giving her a vague description of what I was looking for, she was able to pull a lot of beautiful dresses for me with the help of another consultant (I can't remember her name, but she ended up pulling the dress I eventually chose!). They both were immediately able to understand the "vibe" that I was going for. I was also obviously given some time to browse the racks myself.
Roza was very professional and had a great system to help me weed out dresses and narrow down my choices. It was clear to me that Roza was most concerned with me finding a dress that I felt confident in and that I loved, and when she could tell I felt uncomfortable in a dress she would immediately suggest I moved on to another. I really felt that she was very invested in my hunt for a dress, whether I found it at Becker's or elsewhere. Even though the dress I chose was made in store and was her favourite on me, I came to this decision completely on my own. I could also tell that the reason it was her favourite was because of how comfortable and happy I felt in it, which I really appreciated.
Roza was also excellent at clamping the dresses to me so they sat right at my waist where they should sit. I found some consultants at other stores would rush through this process, and this made it difficult to tell how the fitted dress would actually look on you. Everyone at Becker's was extremely knowledgeable about all the styles and materials used in the dresses and the options available to me to customize parts of dresses so they would better suit me. The store was also nice and bright and had seating for any guests you brought along with you.
Ultimately, Roza and her staff were obviously very experienced and also extremely welcoming. My time at Becker's was far more enjoyable and less stressful than it could otherwise have been, and I can't wait to return later in the year for my fitting!
