  • Very poor customer service today. I originally spoke with a lady with extremely short hair and all I wanted was my letter to be stamped with today's date. The reason I need this is because I was mailing a lease check for our family business. In the past we have been fined $500 late fee because it wasn't stamped with the correct date even though it was mailed on time. Now we go in and personally get it stamped with the correct date. The clerk immediately told me this was a service that they no longer provide. Next I went to the postmaster to ask him and he said he would do it in the back room but not in front of me. Even after explaining the situation in the past he refused. Horrible customer service that would've taken two seconds to stamp but spent five minutes explaining reasons why they couldn't do it. Never going back! Update: I just drove over to the post office at Val Vista and Palo Verde and they just stamped my letter no problem. Friendly and efficient staff!
