This was our first visit (had a groupon) and we'd definitely go back. The cup size wonton soup was huge. Slivers of carrot and something that I'd guess to be Chinese celery - were crisp and flavorful. My shrimp in the "shrimp in lobster sauce" were very large and they "snapped" when bit or cut into - the mark of fresh and appropriately cooked shrimp in my mind. It came to the table only luke warm, we asked for it to be heated, and it was, without the shrimp getting overdone.
Our chicken/pork/shrimp noodle dish was perfectly seasoned and flavorful, though the shrimp in this dish were smaller - and didn't have the snap. But the noodles alone carried the dish.
The tea was served in a small metal pot - which looked really "authentic" and added some beauty to the table.
The waitress who did the entire shift with just one helper (who didn't actually take orders, but she ran dishes out and cleaned tables) for a fairly sizable lunch crowd was attentive and friendly. She knew the menu well and seemed confident and competent. before we left, we made sure that she knew that we not only enjoyed the food but also appreciated her friendly service.
the decor is pleasant without the "traditional" bright red trappings of some Asian restaurants.
This was the best Chinese lunch we've had in a very long time. Left overs will make a 2nd lunch tomorrow!
We were glad that the groupon took us there!
