The Jack Singer Concert Hall is a wonderful place to take in a show. With a seating capacity just shy of 1800 people, the venue retains an intimate atmosphere. There really are no bad seats - we recently had seats on the 3rd balcony level, and still appreciated the sound quality as well as how close we felt to the performance. The seats are large and comfortable, yet leave enough room for you to stand and dance when the performer plays your favorite song. The venue also didn't seem to mind when a small crowd of eager fans gathered in the aisles in front of the stage to dance.
Speaking of sound quality... It is incredible. There is a large 90 ton (185,000 lb!) laminated spruce wood acoustical canopy which can be raised or lowered to "tune" the theater to the specific needs of each performer. This allows them to be able to host anyone from a one-man-band to a large orchestra of performers. It really is a neat set up, so show up early for your next show if you want to ogle at the ceiling and admire the acoustic engineering!
