  • Had the quiche and soup today and was SHOCKED that it cost over $80 for 4 people and we had NO drinks!! We had 3 soups, 2 quiches and 2 sandwiches! The service was terrible. We had to hunt down a server to ask questions, then again to order and the food was simply tossed on the bar for us to go and get ourselves! The food was ok, correction, the quiche was tasty, but the sandwiches were quite normal, maybe even smaller than normal and had very little ham, etc. The soup, at 7 DOLLARS A BOWL, came in very small bowls and was very under-seasoned. Combined with the lipstick on the glass, dirty food found on a spoon, etc., it made for an unpleasant and unforgettable experience. This place is priced like a high-end diner but the food and service are the equivalent of a low-end pub. I really love the ambience there, and it's close to home, unfortunately we won't return. They're priced for the Torontonian's and not the Locals that support all year long.
