  • I have gone two years without a mani/pedi. I had pretty much decided money was better spent elsewhere, i.e. on foot massages. But, this weekend, I was tired of looking at my less than pretty toes in flip-flops. I decided to invest my dollars in in my toenails and fingernails. The staff at Nails For You are sweethearts. They are so nice that I had a hard time rating the business two stars. However, the shop didn't feel spic and span. The collection of nail polish seemed a bit crusty. And, they didn't have some of the extra little perks I remembered from past mani/pedis, such as the little warming mitts. For my nails, I wanted a clear coat, but the clear coat I ended up with has a yellow tint. I am not too crazy about that. Yes, my toes definitely look 2000000% better, but I will probably take the piggies elsewhere next time.
