Ok, I arrived about 5 after 3 PM to check in. My family and I had been traveling since 4 that morning. I am greeted with attitude from Cathy at the front desk. The room was not ready so I politely asked if she had anything else. She replied "but you asked for a low room." I said yes but would you check? She stated there is only a room near an elevator and Marriott does not like to put platinum members there. I then asked about how long before the room was ready? I would kill some time in Charlotte. All of this conversation was if I was a bother Terrible people skills. They called me back and it was a different lady with better people skills. When I arrived again Cathy gave me my room key and I survived that confrontation so I thought. She only set my key for one day and I reserved 2. She was on duty the second day and made the comment they probably set it for one day. Well it was her. Oh well I made no comment just let her reprogram. Well my wife went to the desk and there was Cathy. She asked Cathy for change and and there was no acknowledgement of how much will you need, nothing. But she did give the change. Knowing what I know now, I will stay elsewhere when I visit. I had a good experience at the courtyard Marriott near the airport.
