I had it knocked out of my hand as a result of being shoved by your meathead staff. Big difference. You guys will be out of business in a year at this rate. Original review: 1 star for the size of the club; another reviewer is right, it's a "spectacle worth seeing at least one time". -1 star because the drinks ARE FREAKING ABSURD. $12 for a vodka red bull? For mine and my friend's 2 drinks we paid $25 including tip. That's insane. We were having a good time despite the sticker shock, but then the staff had to ruin it. -3 stars because their security were jerks to begin with, from the door onwards, and later shoved me out of the way, knocking my phone out of my hand in the process. My iPhone is now shattered with a big chunk out of the top screen. (Ironically, I had been texting someone trying to get him to come to Maya. Ha!) There is no reason for 3 guys to be carrying what looked like a coffee table through a crowd at 11:30 on a Friday night. None. If there REALLY is, send someone ahead of them to politely clear the way. Instead, they march through like soldiers, literally plowing people out of the way. Other girls were grabbing and pulling their friends aside so they didn't get mowed down. I'm pissed about my phone. I was pissed last night, too angry to deal with a manager civilly, so we just left. But now I realize, talking to a manager is likely futile. This is Scottsdale after all. Are you jack offs going to replace my phone? Probably not. Now I'm spending Halloween weekend dropping $300 on a new phone. Thanks a ton, Maya.
