  • In the past I've had a lot of luck with the clothing at the big downeast stores in other states (Idaho and utah) so I was excited to check this one out since we were in the area. Granted, we did show up about 15 minutes before the store was closing but wanted to take a quick lap around to see if the store was worth coming back to, As soon as we walked in the girl told us we had 5 minutes, and it took everything me into not to correct the time and tell her, "nice to see you too" and then we got to the back of the store and someone said can I help you find something? I said no thank you I'm just taking a quick look around and she responded that we had 10 minutes. We left the store 5 minutes before their closing time because the employees were just grumpy. The store was very crowded as well. Not a good experience.
