I want to write a more positive review because they have a very large selection of fabrics, especially carrying prints and selections that are a couple of years old and scarce to find. However, the customer service after a few experiences is really not friendly nor accommodating/helpful. I asked a table cutter employee if she could help me match a white fabric [which I planned to buy 4 yards of] to a sample I had bought there a couple of weeks ago, and her reply was "I don't know what will match, you need to go look at the bolts over there" .. and the bolts were on a low shelf in front of a customer that was getting her fabrics cut .. and she was not happy about me disturbing her position at the cutting table while I was trying to pull bolts from the shelf to match my swatch. I bought $150 dollars of fabric, although I made good use of a 25% discount promotion, but I thought the service and table cutter help to be surly and sour and not at all helpful nor friendly. The check-out staff individual was friendly and light-hearted and helped elevate my experience. I buy a lot of fabric for my cottage industry business but I think my on-line experience, even though sight-unseen with the fabrics, is superior to the sour and nasty service experience I had at the cutting tables at 35th Ave Sew and Vac at 3548 W Northern .. I am sorry to say this because I do believe in supporting local businesses but I don't get the nasty non-helpful attitude when buying on-line. No help in person equals no help needed purchasing on line at maybe better discounts.
