Original review-
The actual hairstyling was great, but I gave it a 2 star for its management and customer service. I had an appointment for a blow out under my legal name, and I arrived early to ensure I could get started on time. When I checked in at the front desk, they couldn't find my appointment so they made a new appointment using my English name. I showed them the email confirmation with the appointment set under my legal name.
I didn't think too much of it since I was getting my hair done and getting in at the right time. I had my hair done and it was great so I was just going to brush it off as my appointment getting lost into the aether.
The next morning, I see my credit card is charged a $20 no show fee right next to my $49 charge for a blowout. I called the customer service line and the rep said that since the new appointment was made under my English name and not my legal name, she can't do anything about it from her end right now. A team has to investigate the matter and get back to me in 24-48 hrs.
I don't blame the customer service rep for the bad service. It's a mess and at this point, I've already made peace with losing $20, but I most definitely would not return
