  • Three months in and the glitz wears off and I couldn't WAIT to leave. The amenities definitely has that resort feel. The apartment itself I did love as liked the layout, the look, and especially the touches in the kitchen (backsplash, farmhouse sink etc). But unfortunately that's as far as my positiveness goes. There is absolutely no noise retention which is to be expected when every floor has wooden flooring. You expect to hear noise living in an apartment complex but this was another level. We could hear conversations, phones vibrating, and their dog running around. We obviously mentioned it to the leasing office but what do we expect them to do? Ask their dog to stop walking?! And because we could hear upstairs, it meant downstairs could hear us. We would tip toe, never wear shoes inside, and are constantly worried when we accidentally dropped something. This is no way to live! Something to consider is that as you enter your apartment from the inside (like a hotel) you will hear a lot more noise, especially as the hallways are also wooden flooring. Building 3 was built poorly and if you just walk in the hallway you can hear how cheap it is. As others have mentioned parking can be upsetting. If you arrive home after 9pm on a weekday there is a strong possibility you will not be able to find a parking spot which leaves you driving around in the hope someone leaves or taking the risk and parking in disabled parking and loading bays. In being fair, they have now assigned parking(to commence after we left) but I can still imagine it being a battle if you have more than one car. I had different management originally as Mark Taylor only came on since June. The previous team were lovely! They tried to be as accommodating as possible and helped in any way they could. They also had nice touches like movie Thursdays and food trucks. Unfortunately, that has not continued. With the exception of Katie, who was beyond helpful, the other two girls give nothing but attitude, aren't helpful, and literally will go into the back as you approach the front desk. I feel bad for all residents having to tackle any issues with them. Recently you can no longer pick up your packages at the leasing office but instead all packages will be dropped at your doorway. Might sound convenient but I personally wouldn't want those just left in the hallway, especially around Christmas... As a closing note all I can say is look beyond the sparkle. It does look modern and impressive but the every day living was not.
