  • My google review: If I could leave a rating lower than one star, I would leave a negative number of stars! This service was recommended by many people on my Nextdoor app, the cleaner I chose (Quanita) in particular. I had to move out of my house because the owner is selling it, and she left me a list of items to be cleaned thoroughly. I hired QUANITA COPELAND through Hux to do a deep/move out clean with add-ons like refrigerator and oven on Sunday, as that was the last day I could be at house, which I made very clear. It was scheduled over a week ago. She arrived almost 4 hours late, cleaned part of one bathroom then called me to say she had a stomach virus all of a sudden. I told her it was my last day there or I could be charged extra rent, and she told me to call Hux to see if they could schedule an emergency cleaning. That was a joke because when I called, you don't even have the option to leave a message. It just tells you to go to the website or email them then hangs up! Too, I had to hunt for a phone number, and when I called, I discovered Hux has no way to even talk to a human! Further, when I tried multiple times to contact Quanita to find out if she took the tip I left her (which she took before even finishing the cleaning even though she knew she may not be the one coming back to clean!), where the cleaning list is, and where my house key is, she didn't respond until hours later. So, my only recourse was to send an email to Hux support and hope and wait for them to read it and send a cleaner out the next day. I am livid!!! If I get charged extra rent for this, I'm holding Hux responsible!!! If it is not fixed and the house cleaned to my satisfaction, I will be leaving horrific reviews on every site I can find! Update: I finally got a call from the supervisor at Hux--Ray--Monday morning, and he was very apologetic. He said he would give me a discount after I let him know how cleaning went, and he called my landlord to explain it wasn't my fault the house wasn't cleaned on time, which I appreciated. Quantita went back to house Monday to complete the cleaning. When we checked that evening, it was subpar at best. The carpets were the worst, as there was dirt and pet hair still everywhere. Even the bathroom fixtures hadn't even been wiped down. It didn't smell like any cleaning products were even used. I have about 30 pictures of dirt all over. To top it off, Quanita called me to say Hux cancelled the service and she didn't get paid, and she wanted me to contact Hux to tell them she cleaned and should pay her. She also gave me a guilt trip saying she cleaned longer than she was scheduled for, (like she did me some favor after bailing on me) but that seems unlikely since it was such a crappy job. I don't know how Hux handled the money; I just know I was charged and it already came out of my account. I wrote Ray (the Hux supervisor) back, but I received a generic response with no name and still haven't heard from Ray or any other supervisor, so I don't know if I'm getting a discount or what. I feel like I should get a total refund because of what happened and the poor cleaning job. I could end up being charged by landlord. Unless Hux does something over the top to make this up to me, I'll be giving Hux and Quanita terrible reviews wherever I can. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had.
