  • I called Chicos on Wed. 5/3 to make a reservation for Fri 5/5 for a group of 10 at 6:30. Knowing it was Cinco de mayo, I made sure the young lady took my name and phone number. When we arrived I was told by the hostess that they don't take reservations for Cinco de mayo and had no table available. I told her that I called and made a reservation. She said "Oh you're the one. The young lady was a new employee and made a mistake taking the reservation" I told her that I gave my name and number; when they realized their mistake why didn't they call. She had no answer and said sorry but they couldn't accommodate our group for at least an hour. Members of our group have eaten there many times and felt very put out by their attitude. I then called Chili's and they were able to accommodate. Will probably take Chicos off my list of regular places to go.
