  • I'm taking off two stars for each of the times the cashiers were either rude or clueless. I had several items to return yesterday because more often than not, I find what I'm looking for online and need to return in the store. That's Nordstrom's thing, right? Easy returns? Well the cashier gave me a look when I brought my organized back of items (still in the little bags they were shipped in and with the packing slip). She gave me an attitude about returning when I said I usually cant find what I want in the store and buy online (some snippy comment about how sometimes the stuff is in the store). I handed her the packing slip and she proceeded to get extremely confused about each item on the computer. Um, the slip is right there. Match up the COLOR and the BRAND and the price on the tag. Not that hard. She second guesses every single item I hand her even when I point out the item on the slip and the computer. One item wasn't on the packing slip because the shipping department screwed up and I made a note of this at least twice when I told her. She said it was fine. She then lectures me about using my Visa card instead of the rewards card. I told her I use the rewards card but I don't have a Nordstrom card. She argues for a while about the rewards and at the end says it's a debit. Well thank honey, I didn't want a debit card, I wanted to use my own Visa, and I didn't want to stand here for five minutes discussing it. She was so confused and slow, I wanted to wait until she had finished figuring out what items there were before telling her I wanted store credit. It's never been an issue with any other cashier. I tell her and she apparently already ran it and I was supposed to tell her sooner. Um, and confuse her some more? Gee, thanks. I get home, check my e-mails aaaaaand... She refunded one of the wrong items. It wasn't even in the bag and wasn't even the same colors. It matched NOTHING on the slip except for the brand. And it was cheaper than the one I brought. I called the store LIVID and guess who answers the phone? She then proceeds to give me attitude about how the store credit has to be mentioned sooner and the photos don't show up on the computer so it's confusing. Yeah, I can tell you're the one I dealt with two hours ago. Way to make this complaint even longer. No kidding about the half-off customer service comments. No wonder I keep shopping online instead.
