  • I'm a patient of Dr. Upen Kawale. He is an excellent doctor, he is highly skilled, very patient and always fully explains the details of the exam. When I first saw him about ten years ago, I had been to three different eye doctors and each had told me I didn't need glasses or a prescription. However I was having crippling migraines and couldn't determine the cause. Dr. Kawale gave me a through eye exam, declared all the other optometrists wrong and prescribed a correction of +2.50 in one eye! Almost immediately my migraines went away. He is the only optometrist that I will go to! Further, the opticians here are excellent. They will assist you in selecting the frames that suit your face. Also they use the absolute best lenses in their glasses. You will find that the lenses here are a bit more pricey but they are certainly worth it. The anti scratch and anti reflection coatings actually work. They also have a big selection of contact lenses and an expert, Shelley, to teach how to wear them and help you find the right brand for you. She is really friendly and helpful. Overall, I couldn't imagine going anywhere else!
