| - Was invited to a long day of bachelor partying beginning with the 1pm games of Week 1 of the 2011 NFL season - and loved what they offered for NFL set-up. When you walk in, you hit the main bar immediately, with maybe 7 or 8 TVS, booths, tables, high tops and bar seats. Keep going by the washrooms and video games - Golden Tee!!!! - and you hit the second room, with a projection screen and some smaller TVs. Go down the stairs and you have one giant projection screen, as well as FoosBall, pool table, basketball game and that "My d*ck's bigger than your d*ck" punching bag game. If you decide to go right before hitting the stairs, you have another section with a couple TVs and a smaller bar (which wasn't open even though the place was busy).
The beauty of it all, in each of these "rooms," they managed to have the volume on for the dedicated games, which is great for a drunken wanderer such as myself.
The specials on that day were limited to the bucket of beer-type which was fine. I saw some of the food go by, and it looked fairly average, but sometimes those are the best meals. The server we had was efficient, nice enough but didn't make a difference either way, which is fine on football Sundays.
The soon-to-be-married-dude pointed out the manager of the pub who was chilling in the "Bills room" drinking his coffee (with Bailey's?) yelling at the Bills game. Thought that was a nice touch actually.
Not long after, some lady reps (who were appropriately dressed considering the generally male NFL crowd) walked around getting us to give up our email addresses for some free shots (and a contest or something but who knows). Free shots are good, prolly why I give this review 4 stars.
