  • This restaurant is one of our very favorites in Las Vegas. We come to Las Vegas five or six times per year and we always make it a point to have at least one meal here. This evening we wanted to share the restaurant with our friends who were in town for her 50th birthday. In fact earlier in the week she had rented a cabana and had a wonderful birthday so for that I give them five stars. This evening was probably one of the worst experiences we have had at this restaurant ever. I would probably give them one star for rudeness and lack of courtesy but I am giving them three stars because as usual the food was fantastic. We made a reservation for 9:45 which is an option on OpenTable. We arrived at the restaurant at 9:40. The minute we were seated, we were told, by the curt waiter, that we had less than 10 minutes to order our food. We rushed and ordered our food and our bottle of wine. After we received our food we figured that we could take our time and eat and enjoy our dinner and our company at our leisure. Shortly after we received our food the waitstaff started cleaning up the restaurant around us and others hovered giving us the stair down. Our waiter was a bit rigid but did not appear to pressure us. The most appalling behavior was by the bartender. Approximately five minutes after we received our food he cranked the music up so offensively loud that we could not hear each other speak. He did this for a few minutes as if to announce "okay you've been here long enough it's time to go". A few minutes later he did it again. A gentleman from the other table in the restaurant openly voiced his disgust at the behavior. I yelled across the restaurant and announced "okay we get the message were getting out". Most of us still had the majority of food on our plates and half full glasses of wine. My husband was so angry he ordered dessert menus all around the table and ordered another bottle of wine just to let them know that we were there to dine and enjoy our evening regardless of their abhorrent behavior. I would like to make a suggestion that they not offer a 9:45 reservation as an option if they are going to rush their guests the minute they sit down. The restaurant of this caliber comes with an expectation of a fine dining experience, not 15 minutes at Taco Bell. This is the second time we have made a late dinner reservation and the second time we were rushed through our meal. We will think twice before making a late dinner reservation again that is for sure. There are plenty of restaurants in town who are more than happy to take your business and your money at 9:45 PM.
