SAVE YOUR PET - do NOT go here. We took our geriatric cat there for routine check up and full blood work because we suspected kidney disease about 5 months ago (she was losing weight even though she was eating a lot). We saw the younger Dr. Gawk who was surprised our cat was so functional at her age (that should have been a sign that they don't see many geriatric patients in their office). We asked for a full blood panel to check kidney function and all other levels. We paid an exorbitant amount for all this testing. He gave us a call later that day to say the lab results had come back - our cat was in good health. He said nothing to worry, come back in 6 months - 1 year for a routine check. We took her back a couple of weeks ago because we were noticing she was still losing weight and not eating a lot anymore. We ran a full panel of blood work again. Only this time to find out she has CRF, hyperthyroid and some other issues. This other vet tells my family that her CRF just started 35 days ago. When we asked to compare the blood panel from this time to last time they gave us both and we realized that last time her levels were also BAD but Dr. Gawk misdiagnosed her report and said all was good. Also initially we had also asked for the kidney test (SDMA), which he just didn't even bother to run but charged us for the full blood work anyways. At that time she should have been diagnosed (her BUN, cretanine, free t4 everything had red flags). Her reports clearly show and state that, but they are trying to play it off like it just happened, even though her old reports say otherwise. She lost so many months of her life untreated and is in a worse condition now because of their horrible practice. I don't want anyone else's pet to suffer. Take your money elsewhere.
