| - I give this complex a 3, which is fair. The apartment itself was pretty nice. Maintenance was great! Any issue and they fixed it promptly. The grounds were maintained (of course you have your occasional lazy slobs who drop cups and food bags on the ground instead of the garbage cans). The gates, ehhh. They should do away with those. People tail gate so much and a lot of people hit the gates, causing it to get off track and then motor gives off annoying noises all night. It was a pretty good spot to live in. Convenient to the stores and everything else. You obviously have your share of wacky neighbors who disrupt others (but what apartment complex doesn't?). Tennille was the best and by far my favorite (there was another girl, but she left some years ago)!! As for the others, ummmmmm yeah...that about sums it up. My advice to anyone moving here or anywhere is MAKE SURE YOU READ EVEYTHING WITH A FINE TOOTH COMB, GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING AND GET CLARITY!! You can be told one thing and then all of a sudden, the employee gets amnesia and doesn't remember (not my problem if you have memory issues. Play lumosity and fix that!!). The pool was pretty, but always cold (so only in the summer will you benefit from that. Btw, it gets crowded around that time too). Parking was never an issue (at least for the front buildings where we lived).
My 2 complaints are:
1- you have to take the crappy cable. The channels can be do-able (based on your likings), but you need the box to get more channels.
2- lazy ass people who don't want to clean up after there ugly ass mutts (if you don't want to pick up their shit, get rid of them or buy a house with a yard!!)
Also, they have security. But in our 2 years there, we have seen security about a total of 6 times (probably being modest there) and he never goes beyond the pool area to the apartments in the back (probably explains why the people back there were targets for the break ins). However, we have never had an issue with vandalism/ break-ins, so I'm happy with that. Overall, would I recommend this place? Hell, if we survived there for 2 years, I don't see why anyone else couldn't.
