| - It has the essentials, a food court, clothing stores and a home improvement store. It's honestly a small humble mall that doesn't try to be something it isn't, the location is also very convenient since it's very close to my high school. I would only recommend to come here only if you live nearby because it isn't outstanding. Overall it's just average at best and I go everyday for lunch.
Why does this Garrard Square get a 2 star rating from me? Simple, the security staff. They are the worse security guards I have ever had contact with in my life. This only applies if you're a student. If you and a few friends decide to go to Walmart, guess who's going to follow you around the whole store and watch your every move? The security guards assume that every student steals, when I go and pick up a product, to check the quality of it and read the labels they just interrupt me and say, "are you going to buy that?" Like for real, are you going to get off my ass? I can never have my privacy, they have the audacity to talk to me like I'm less than a human being.
TL;DR
Pros
-Essential stores
-Clean
-Location
-Food
Cons
-Security staff, they're assholes
they ruin my day and really bring down the mood, one time they told us to get out of the store if we're not going to buy anything, really dude? You're kicking out potential customers which just ruins the business and ruins your image. It does more bad than good, actually it does no good at all.
That concludes my review on Gerrard Square.
