  • Absolutely phenomenal mechanic!!! If you listen to ONE of my reviews, make it this one. I just imported a 1992 Nissan Skyline; these vehicles were only produced in Japan, so I wanted a mechanic that specializes in JDM vehicles. After picking it up from the Port of Long Beach I wanted the Skyline inspected to ensure everything was in working order. Nissan quoted me $150 just for the inspection. I called Yoshi at Samurai, he told me he'd inspect it free and only charge me what needed to be done. I instantly drove it over to him. Yoshi was honest and fair! Instead of ordering the most expensive parts, he asked me whether I wanted cheapo, performance, or somewhere in the middle. He didn't rip me off on labor. After replacing all tires, brake pads, rotors, fixing the power steering, installing an upper camber kit, doing the alignment, the multipoint inspection with oil change, I was expecting a $3,000 bill. Yoshi charged me $1,700. Needless to say, I will be bringing my other vehicles to him as well!
