| - At this point I don't know if she has me confused with someone else, is a shameless liar, or is insane, but it's my word against hers. I told her pretty early on into this exchange that I wouldn't be returning and that she could keep the money as well so I think it's clear I wasn't trying to manipulate or bully her just to get free services. I have no reason to lie, I honestly just wanted her to fix her mistake. And I do believe it was her mistake. I tried to put it gently in my earlier texts to her because I didn't want to be rude as well as accepting my part as far as drinking caffeine, hot showers, etc(and "who knows what else" as she said in her response, nice implication) which does increase pain in waxing, but for her to be so unwilling to admit to her mistakes and to blatantly lie in her initial response to me and her response here, I find completely lacking integrity. I'm disappointed but I'll go back to getting waxed at the Pretty Kitty, which costs more and has been done perfectly every time I've gone.
She also included details I never said anything about, like I have problems with her booking procedures? That's confusing, but as I said she may be confused or the lying is pathological, I have no idea. We had a lengthy conversation about why my hair was so long and I asked her if she needed to trim it as my other waxers have sometimes had to do, and she said she thought it should be fine.
Yes, anyone who gets Brazilian waxes knows the butt crack is a standard part of it.
You said I paid $10 for the butt cheek area, that's funny because you charged me $15.
I don't have a clue what policies you made exceptions on or what fee you charged me, none of this was brought up during the session whatsoever.
I didn't say your work was fine, I said I wouldn't leave a bad review on the work alone, because I'm not a dick. Your attitude is what made me want to write this.
I tip well because I appreciate hard work. I appreciate integrity and honesty more. For the third and final time, I don't even want the money back at this point and I said that very early on. I'm just upset I ever came to interact with someone who would behave like this over their own mistake.
My only financial issue is when I pay a significant amount for a service and it's done improperly. If I was hard up for cash I would not splurge on body hair removal services.
I didn't contact you for awhile(and by awhile, I mean one week, which is apparently unreasonable compared to five days) because I work a busy job for long hours with one day off a week and didn't want to bother you at 6am or 9pm and this last weekend I was a little distracted. With you being the one to use last weekend's tragedy as a tool in your disgusting final text to me, you'd think you would have taken that into consideration.
I think you're a horrible business owner and not a very nice person either(despite my previous assertation in my original review that I didn't think you were a bad person[a statement I made to bully you, apparently]. Boy did you prove me wrong.) I'm glad I can decide to never associate with you in any capacity ever again. Best of luck to you, Stacey.
