  • UPDATE: Talked to the manager (Alex) and he immediately resolved the issue, no questions asked. Great customer service from the manager (Alex). We will continue to shop at Sports Chalet. We try to support this location but every time we do, we experience poor customer service. This weekend we gave Sports Chalet another chance. We bought about $200 worth of training gear and I used a 20% coupon on a pair of swim shorts (about $8 savings.) Today, I exchanged my husband's swim shorts for a different size and the cashier (Tasha) would not apply the 20% coupon because the coupon expired yesterday - but I purchased the shorts yesterday I was simply exchanging for a different size. I really wasn't in the mood to argue with Tasha so I just left. Ridiculous. As much as I want to support Sports Chalet, their employees simply don't understand customer service. I hope management checks their Yelp reviews because I prefer the level of customer service at the manufacturer stores like Nike, Adidas and Puma. Their employees would never snub a customer over $8.
