  • Went here for breakfast on the last day of a recent trip to Vegas. It was primo Sunday brunch time, about 11 AM, but the wait for 2 people was only about 10 minutes, and I liked that they took your number and texted you when your table was ready. I also LOVED that they had mini almond pastries set out for you to nibble on while you waited. GREAT touch. Located in the Venezia tower near the pool, Bouchon is far removed from most everything else at the Venetian, which means you're not flooded with casino sounds, but there's not much around if you have to wait. Also, if self-parking in the garage, turn LEFT once you exit the parking garage elevator on the third floor. You will see giant letters informing you to go right to the Casino, so your inclination is of course to go that way. However, you will then have a ridiculously long walk to try to find the place. If you do turn left, though, you will see a much smaller sign above the archway that notes that the elevators next door lead to the Venezia tower and Bouchon Bistro. I'm pretty sure most people do not even see this sign until they are returning to the parking garage from their second long walk back from Bouchon. Once seated, the meal and service were quite good. Complimentary bread with butter and a delectable strawberry jam starts things off. They have a wide array of pastries as breakfast "starters," and the entree selection was good as well. There were plenty of savory and sweet choices for any taste. My boyfriend and I ordered the quiche of the day and the brioche doree (a bread pudding style French toast with pineapple). The quiche was PHENOMENAL. Perfect blend of flavors and great textures to the eggs and crust. The brioche doree was good too, but I didn't think it was as stupendous as some write and did not hold a candle to the quiche. Honestly, it was a bit soggy for my taste. The bloody mary and bellini we had were decent but nothing to write home about, and while I thought the food was decently priced, the drinks, in my opinion, were a bit expensive, especially considering that if you wait until you get to the casino, you'll get them for free. Overall, I would definitely come back here and would recommend this place to others too. And if you come, you MUST get the quiche - whatever it may happen to be that day.
