  • The food is fantastic, hands down. The Kimchee Reuben is to die for. To. Die. For. My other half had the New Mexico and was also very pleased, but then attempted to eat the rest of my Kimchee Reuben. No way, Jose. I also loved the fact that the person who ordered coffee got a tureen of it with it so he could do his own refills. I've also had the Java Burger--it's a subtle coffee flavor, but it's there---the cheese is so decadent it literally just lovingly hugs the burger. And the apple slaw? Oh, oh....heaven. The coffee (actually espresso--and yes, made with espresso) pancakes with the chocolate whipped cream are amazing. Prices are great. You could not meet nicer people than Robert and Carolyn. I have been in Kailyn's several times, and have seen great improvement in a few areas people have commented on--service has sped up, bussing of tables has sped up, music level turned down, temperature just right. It''s a restaurant that is going through, and has gone through, growing pains. Well worth the trip, non-downtowners. Remember they don't currently have dinner service so for a Saturday lunch or Sunday brunch, it's perfect.
