| - TERRIBLE customer service and TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. None of the employees in the "skin care" section knows the ingredients in the expensive crap that they try to push off on you, and they won't let you read the ingredients yourself, which seems totally shady. I was stupid enough to stop there on my lunch hour, thought I'd be in and out because I knew exactly what product I was looking for. Unfortunately, no one at this store had "ever heard of" the product I was looking for and instead tried to upsell me on a vast array of other products, about which none of the employees knew any of the ingredients! One employee tried to sell me a $200 bottle of Lancome youth serum something or other, and when I asked about the ingredients in the serum, she told me, "You will have to look that up online." Uh... excuse me? You want me to shell out $200 for the crap you are tying to sell, and you want ME to go look up the ingredients online?!! How lazy and unprofessional can you be??! Why couldn't she just hand me the box that the crap product came in and let me look at the ingredient list? She was just so sure I would spend the $200, I guess - well, I didn't, so hope she can hook some other poor sucker. (Incidentally, I DID look up the ingredients later, when I came home empty-handed, and there is NOTHING in that $200 Lancome product that can possibly accomplish its claims of wrinkle fighting and erasing - no peptides, no hyaluronic acid, and no retinol, just a bunch of water and plant seed extracts, which is great if you are trying to plant a garden, I guess, but I'm looking for a serious wrinkle fighter. Hell, for $200, it should COME with a little garden you can start at home!) Another lady tried to sell me some product that she uses "everyday" and "swears by," and she couldn't tell me the ingredients of that, either! Uh, you "swear by" a product that you use "everyday" and you don't even know what's in it?! I'm sure! This lady pressed the product into my hands and even insisted on pumping some onto my hands so I could slather it onto my skin. I have extremely sensitive skin and said I wasn't going to put it on without knowing what was in it. She got a little huffy, like I was wasting her time (when it was actually the other way around - she was wasting MY time) and exasperatedly picked up a box and began reading the ingredients TO me, like I was a 4-year-old; she wouldn't even let me read the ingredients myself. Also, EVERY SINGLE WOMAN who worked in the "skin care" section of this store had heavy, deep wrinkles all over their face, which is not what I would call a great advertisement for any anti-aging product that they are trying to sell. WON'T be going back. And I wasted my entire lunch hour getting treated like crap by these saleswomen who were clearly threatened by an educated consumer.
