Extremely below average for the price. 20/hour massage places are all over Chinatown, I have a bad back problem so I go every 2 weeks and this place is lackluster at best and lazy at worst. The head and feet massage is average, language barrier made it harder to tell him what I wanted. He barely touched my back at all, doing a quick pressure with his forearm, which either felt like nothing for the length of the forearm or deep searing pain when his elbow dug into my back. I did the 90 mins for $28 and they did not tell you before hand that 30 of those minutes are just soaking your feet in a ionized bath? Whatever that means.
The hour of actual massage time I got broke down to about 20 mins head, 30 mins leg and feet and 10 mins back. I'm pretty unhappy because I'm used to places that will include a full oiled back massage to work out the kinks in your muscles and hot stones for $20/hr or $28/90 mins. I still tipped him even if he's collecting money and feels like he's pressuring me, but now I'm out 40 and my back still hurts. I really wanted to like this place cuz my last one got busted for illegally practicing massage when they only have a license to do reflexology, but I guess the hunt for a better massage parlor continues.
