It's hard having contractors in your home. Your home is your sanctuary, and you have to trust these professionals to do things in your home that you don't have the knowledge or skill to do properly yourself, and to treat both you and your belongings with care and respect in the process. That is exactly why I highly recommend Clayton Family Tile. They will communicate with you and proactively level-set expectations with you based on any challenges there may be due to pre-existing construction in your home. They will take great care in doing a quality installation while also protecting other materials and items in the work area. And they are just really nice, caring people. Jeremy himself came by to carefully inspect the work being done and he really wanted me to love it. John finished up the grouting on the second day and told me to be sure to let them know if I had any problems at all, saying he'd personally come out and make sure it's addressed.
The large interior design companies that the local builders use are dealing in high volume and their focus is only to maximize profit. To achieve this, they will generally cut corners and then caulk, grout, epoxy patch, spackle and polish up their substandard work to give you the illusion of quality when you first move in. You are basically just a number. With Clayton Family Tile, you are a respected client. If I ever build again I will take the base package on everything and have Jeremy and his team do the work that takes precise skill and craftsmanship. In this instance, they did my kitchen backsplash and a niche at the top of my stairs in a beautiful glass mosaic with some stone and metal mixed in. I'll attach some pictures to illustrate their handy work.
