  • BEWARE of service department scams! I used to get my truck serviced there until they started coming up with unnecessary and expensive repairs. They told me that my brakes were shot and that my power steering fluid was leaking - both repairs would have cost more than $2500! Good thing I took it for a second opinion at an independent repair shop - brakes had more than 50% useful life and no power steering leak! Wow! I will never go back to Toyota of North Charlotte for either service or to buy a car....and you shouldn't either. Honesty goes a long way - it's very simple - lie to me and you lose my business. Also, they are not too professional and the folks answering the phones are snippy and a bit condescending. I love my Toyota - too bad this dealership does not reflect the high quality or integrity of the product they sell.
