| - If I could give ZERO stars, I would! My story is LONG, but the bottom line is that I had to call corporate in order to get any thing that remotely resembled customer service:
Long story short... took car in on Wednesday to get repaired. They called me Thursday with options to repair. My gas tank was sitting on a table Thursday night. They told me that they would update me with final repair options on Friday, and I never received a call. When I called that evening to get a status, I was told that my gas tank was still not on the car and since the service tech that was assigned to my car was off for the weekend, I would have to wait until Monday to have my car completed. This meant that I had to extend my car rental an additional two days... $70 worth of unexpected fees.
The story gets worse. There seems to be a recall on yet another gas tank issue that just happened to be broken once I did get my car back (COINCIDENCE?!?). An issue which causes gas to spray out of the car when you try to fill it up... which means that you can't put gas in the car at all. Apparently, there is a huge back order on the part needed to repair the issue and no one seems to know when the part will come in.
So... I have to find another way to get around because the part is on back order (hard to drive a car without fuel). If this is a company wide issue, why isn't anything being done to speed up the process? Furthermore, why doesn't anyone at the dealership seem to CARE?
By the way, I called corporate, and was hung up on by a MANAGER!!! I was considering buying a Chrysler 200 after driving the rental. I THINK NOT! Due to my negative experience, I will NEVER buy anything in the Dodge, Ram or Chrysler family. HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
