  • Overrated by far. I finally went there one day after everyone raved about it, and what a disappointment. The doughnuts tasted dry, old, and basic. I also tried a cinnamon roll, and it tasted like it came from a can.. and made days in advance. The staff was also very rude, and there was not a great selection. The atmosphere was yucky and shady, similar to a bad gas station. I wish I could rate 0 stars, as this might be worse than Dunkin Donuts. Hopefully I can find a decent bakery in Madison. These doughnuts were just plain gross. The only redeeming doughnut might be the sour cream old-fashioned, which had a crispy twist to it. It was the only one I could stomach. Update: I went on a non-game day, and the doughnuts were much better! Now I can taste the 5-star quality everyone is talking about. So bottom line - don't go here on game days! They make thousands of bakery items a few days in advance for the huge crowds, so no wonder they tasted old. So I changed my one-star review to three, because despite the yummy doughnuts, the atmosphere and staff still need work.
