  • Indeed the smallest bar in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Visited the Monks' Bar during a recent stay at the Priory--just had to so I could say I've been there! Excellent service since you're basically nose-to-nose with the bartender as soon as you cross the threshold. It's a novelty; I'd recommend stopping in if you're in the Deutschtown neighborhood. Read about the history of the Priory--it's interesting! There's also a nice courtyard where you can sit if the bar itself is too crowded.
