  • My husband recently booked a night at Red Rock for a marriage seminar. I wish we could have experienced all that Red Rock had to offer but unfortunately we didn't. We went up to the desk to check in but the lady Ashlee said it would be over $300 for 1 night!!! We were shocked because with our seminar discount it should have only been around $100. Ashlee wasn't sure why we didn't receive the discount so she called her "manager" and we got a HUGE UNNECESSARY ATTITUDE from him. I quote manager because he was more like a 3 letter word. (catch my drift) He said that we were "under the impression" what our room rate would be. That he would have to check the call for the rate that was given. He went on to explain that it would take an HOUR to figure that out and he would give us a call. An hour went by and NO CALL. My husband had to leave the seminar for 20 mins and basically in so many words the "manger" was calling my husband stupid and being very DISRESPECTFUL. He said that the hotel rep did quote us $100 a night with the seminar discount,however the rep failed to call us back and confirm the pricing. So my husband asked him for an apology & the manager literally laughed in my husband's face and said he wasn't going to apologize. He said that his rep was suppose to get back to us on the price to make sure it would be $100 but said they never did so technically we weren't right! The "manager" said it wasn't his fault so he refused to apologize. Talk about being a "team player" huh?? I can understand company procedures, but why the rude attitude!? Your in a customer service position...service being the KEYWORD...how about a SMILE or "I'm so sorry sir for this inconvenience." Nope not at Red Rock. They could CARE LESS about servicing their clients! Why would we stay somewhere with such a cold hearted attitude??? We got better customer service at the La Quinta down the street!!! ****Tip for Red Rock: Please put someone else that can properly service your clients in a managerial position because Mr. Attitude is not good for business!***
