So glad we went to HH for dinner, but almost didn't because of the breakfast/lunch description. They do dinner quite well. As far as we could tell, it's like some hipsters took over Denny's and added an interesting beer list.
I had the meatloaf, and regret to say I couldn't finish it. It was the best meatloaf I've had, but enough to feed a little-league team. I did crafts with the rosemary spear and spaghetti pieces as an added bonus. The side veggies--carrots & green beans were tasty and well cooked. The meatloaf sits on top of pan-fried mashed potatoes and is smothered in gravy. I loved it.
The other dish was the sage/bacon chicken & waffles. Also too much for one; it arrived with ample, moist ("real") fried chicken, bacon in the waffles and a few strands of green onions. The chicken & bacon were finished, but a waffle or two didn't fit. Judged: very good.
Be careful what and how much you order. The mains are splittable from what we saw.
Great beer list with several varieties rated 90%+ on the beer sites. The soundtrack on the house system even played the Pixies and other 90s indie rock.
We're planning to go back for breakfast.
