Just moved into the neighborhood a couple of months ago, and was glad to find this gem of a hardware store.
I had an issue with the lock on our front door. I took the lock apart to take it in to get replacement parts. I asked Dani at the key station for help finding the right parts, and she ended spending an unusual amount of time helping me with cleaning out the pins, rebuilding the cylinder, and committed to helping until we got it working.
Since then, this has been my go to place. They tend to be very friendly and helpful. As with any store, you're not likely to find a friendly employee 100% of the time, but that's to be expected when you are dealing with human beings. Everyone has their own personal situations going on, and sometimes they are just trying to make it through a horrible day. Sometimes a smile and thank you is all it takes to change a situation.
