| - First of all... Went online & made sure to research that they took United Healthcare vision plans, united healthcare is listed on the company website in the vision section on the list of insurance providers.
Second of all... was assisted by an extremely rude rude RUDE receptionist, I have never had a customer service experience like this (i NEVER have problems, ANYWHERE I go, I'm always very polite and understanding, and I'm also not much for nasty yelp reviews, but this place deserves one)
This is how it all started:
I scheduled an appointment online the day prior, and have a screen shot of the confirmation of my appointment. It was for 12:40 pm 2/7/18
I show up on time & am very patient with the receptionist upon arrival, even though immediately right off the bat the first two things you notice about the office: the clutter & her rank ass attitude.
After I'm done asking a couple questions & greeting her, she proceeds to tell me I don't have an appointment and the next available will be at 3:20 pm.. so, even though I'm annoyed (due to her tone) I agree to reschedule for 3:20 pm that day. I pulled out my health insurance card and tried to ask a couple questions so I fully understood whether or not they took United Healthcare, as this is my first time making an appointment under new healthcare coverage. She was so off putting and snippy at this point that mid conversation I literally had to walk away as to not let things escalate into physical confrontation.
You need to better select your staff & ensure that when a new patient of yours has confirmation of an appointment they scheduled with you is taken care of responsibly.
A shame of a business.
