  • It's website states that Cat is the closest hostel to the famous strip. In reality, it's located in between tattoo parlors, strip joints and chapels, and within a 30 minute walk to the first large casino. Nevertheless, for as low as 14$ a night, you might be willing to take that walk. There is also an 8$ a day buss located right outside, if you're lazy. The rooms are a snug 6 or 8 bunk bed dorm with an adjoined shower/bathroom. This will come in very handy for the hungover party goer (this is Vegas, after all). The common area is mostly composed out of a big picnic bench situated in the otherwise empty yard. It's not much, but it will force people to interact and thus make new friendships.
