  • AWFUL - I was transitioning from my previous psychiatrist up in Mooresville and was looking for someone local (I have PTSD, Anxiety, OCD, and DID). Most other places either declined to see me because of my DID, or had a several month wait. I couldn't wait that long to get refills on my various meds, so I called these guys. I was told that for my initial appt I would have to do a 'walk-in', so I made arrangements to take a half day off work and was there at 8am when they opened. I expected to have to wait a bit, as a walk in, but I was NOT expecting what happened. I WISH I was exaggerating when I say I ended up being there for 7.5 hours (seriously) before I even saw the intake doctor. I had to text my boss partway through the morning and let him know I wasn't going to be able to come in at all because I was still waiting (and after waiting that long I was not about to take ANOTHER day off work). It was ridiculous - I waited, saw the registration lady, waited again, saw the background lady, waited again, saw the insurance person, waited in a different waiting room, saw the nurse who got my vitals, waited some more, and then finally, at 3:45pm I saw the intake doctor (who isn't even the doctor I would see going forward). She was nice enough, and gave me refills for two months on my meds before telling me to call back and schedule a follow up with my actual go-forward practitioner. Today was the day they told me to call to schedule my follow up appointment, and I called about 8:20 am. They answered fairly quickly, but the lady said she couldn't access my doctor's calendar, so she transferred me to the front desk. It rang and I was immediately put on hold, where I sat for just shy of 19 minutes before I hung up, with nobody answering. I waited about 20 minutes and tried calling again, and a different lady tried transferring me back to the front desk - this time I was disconnected at the 18 minute mark. I called back a third time and voiced my frustration to the lady who initially answered - she came back a minute later and took my name and number and said they were swamped and would call me later to schedule my appointment. I hate feeling like I have to jump through hoops just to see a damn doctor - I am trying to take good care of my mental health but these guys make it exceptionally difficult with their terrible customer service and exorbitant wait times. DO NOT recommend!!!!!
