  • Watch out for the SWITCHAROO!! I bought carpet and pad from this company and purchased the upgraded pad that they advertised to me as "waterproof" in the store. They came out to install and brought a cheap, purple pad that had to be their basic one based on just the looks of it. It doesn't take a carpet person to realize that. We had called the owner Tom over a span of 3-4 hours to try and explain to him that this wasn't the pad we purchased and the 4+ times we called him he gave us the run around saying that it is the right pad and the manufacturers changed the color and there is a spray on film making it "water resistant" (look at the pictures I added and tell me if any of you would believe what he said). My wife tore off a piece of the purple mat and poured some water on it and it went right through it. Finally, during the last calls he got an attitude with my wife and said that he was going to tell his workers to stop and come pick up the pink mat (the one that we wanted) and reschedule for another day for the Install. If he had the pink mat this whole time why wouldn't he send it with his workers? Oh by the way, his workers included his son. I called him the last time while I was at work and he still tried to give me the run around and said that we will get the pink mat and that he has some left over at his warehouse. RIDICULOUS! I told his son at the end I will give him the benefit of the doubt but none of the excuses he was giving could make me believe Tom wasn't trying to get over on us.
