  • If you're on a tight budget and you're not sure which hotels on the strip would best fit your wallet expenses, then I would highly suggest this location as your place of stay. This hotel couldn't have been in a better location than where it sits--right next to the venetian and across from the mirage. Yes, it is in walking distance from the Fashion mall, The Wynn, Bellagio and other popular tourist spots. Check in is definitely a breeze as they do accommodate late arrivals past 6PM. Although, if you originally request a non-smoking room and arrive really late, chances are you will end up with a smoking room like me. There are 2 separate entrances for floors 1-16 and 17-up. After checking in, my 2 girlfriends and I headed to our room on the 26th floor which wasn't as bad as I was expecting it to be. It had a view of the mirage and their fire pit, but it was unfortunate that during our stay, it was undergoing construction so there wasn't much to look out at. Of course it wouldn't matter if you don't plan to stay in your room for a while. As for the room size, what can I say...It was fairly small, but it comes with the price you pay. My 2 gf's and I met up with the rest of our group of girls who happened to stay a few floors below us. They had 2 rooms next to each other with more than 12 girls and it served its purpose for them, although space was pretty tight. Again, if you're on a budget, you'll do what you have to do to save just so you can enjoy all the entertainment and night life that Vegas has to offer. Upon our stay, we visited the pool area which was crowded and filled with creepy guys lurking the waters for ladies to swallow up and spit back out. There are mist sprays against the walls for you to lay out next to on those hot muggy days as well as a little counter shop to buy all your little pool/beach accessories like sunscreen and so forth. Next to the shop you'll most likely find a dj who looks like she's spinning records, but really, she's just inserting cd's into her player like samantha ronson. Then, next to the "dj" is the bar where you can order drinks or just wait for a host/server to ask you what you'd like. To be quite honest, there isn't much that their pool area has to offer. If you're looking for a scene, your best bet would be Tao Beach or Rehab. They do have other amenities like your typical work out room and spa located on the same level. If you're hungry and don't want to leave your hotel, there is the carnaval court located just outside of the casino. You'll find a lively array of the world's top flair bartenders which was recently featured on the travel channel and voted best flair bar in the country! Not only will you enjoy live entertainment, but you can enjoy great shopping at the many shops and kiosks that dot the courtyard selling everything from sunglasses and clothing to hot dogs and pretzels. I ended up buying a last minute dress and necklace at a kiosk here and only spent $30 which wasn't bad at all! As for checking out, you have several options. You can check out at the front desk, do express check out by dropping your slip in the box, or through the television. You can extend your check out if you need to as it is usually around 11AM. When you're finally home and tired from all the hard partying you did, you should receive your billing statement in the mail as a copy and memory of how much damage you've caused to your wallet on entertainment and leisure :P.
